Enroll Your Learner

Enrolling is easy!

Step One:  take a tour

Our learning environment is very different than most, and the best way to determine if we are a good fit for your family is to experience it. If your brain learns best by observing and/or participating, you can schedule a tour during our learning day. If your brain learns best by asking lots of questions, you can schedule a tour after-hours. (You can also do both!)

step two: fill in an application

The application provides us with the basic information we need to know about you and asks some optional questions about what you are looking for in a learning environment. You can choose full-time or part-time options and apply for financial aid if needed.

step three: schedule a visiting day

After receiving your application, we will reach out to schedule a full-day visit for your learner. At the end of the visiting day, we will have a conversation about how we can best customize The Hedgerows experience to meet the needs of your family. This includes what supports your learner might need in order to be successful at The Hedgerows and how we can collaborate to provide those supports. Our goal is to admit everyone, and we have many creative ways to accommodate your learner no matter what their unique needs may be.

step four: Fill out Enrollment paperwork and pay tuition

If you decide to enroll, there is some basic paperwork we need before your learner can start attending. One of these is an Off-Campus Permissions form, which specifies the level of independence your learner can have while moving around our community. We also collect an initial tuition payment and/or authorize payment from your Education Freedom Account. Once we have all this boring stuff out of the way, you can move on to Step Six…

Step Five: Start attending!
