Our Home Bases

What is a Home Base?

Home Bases are the anchor of our learning ecosystem. Each Home Base hosts one or more Advisories - groups of ten learners who work closely with their Advisor to create individualized pathways through our learning ecosystem. At their Home Bases, learners and their Advisors get to know each other as whole human beings. They celebrate successes together and lean on each other during hard times. Advisors stay with their learners for many years, getting to know each one well and providing support, encouragement, and guidance at the appropriate pace and level to allow each unique young person to thrive both individually and within a caring community.
